ReOak Sonoma County
Project Overview
Basics
Implementation
This project identifies sites and implements planting of oak trees and oak woodland plants in areas where oak habitat has been diminished. Some areas have seen a decline of oak habitat over time from agricultural and residential development, and several areas were impacted by the 2017 wildland fires. This project provided oak trees to several landowners impacted by the fires. Additionally, a site in Kenwood was planted with 150 oaks and associated oak woodland plants.
